COPPER SLAG
Copper slag is a blast cleaning grit made of granulated slag from metal melting processes. Copper slag abrasive is utilized as a surface preparation media, ensuring that surface adhesion for coating purposes meets to the desired anchor patterns and cleanliness. It is suitable for blast cleaning of steel and stone/concrete surfaces, removal of mill scale, rust, old paint, dirt etc. It is an inert and environmentally friendly media for surface preparation that produces a clean surface for coating adhesion. Various mesh size are produced meeting to specifications.
Application :
With pressure blasting equipments , Copper slag are used in removal of mill scale, rust paint etc. Scope of work refineries, Shipyards, Offshore oil rigs, Tank builders, Steel fabricators.
